Grey/Orange
Form follows function in this mesh-lined shell running jacket from Jun Takahashi's collaborative 'Gyakusou' line. This jacket's composite construction features sculpturally cut knit insert panels whose shapesare body-mapped, aligning with high exertion/perspiration areas to provide targeted moisture management, ventilation, and stretch/flexibility.This design lexicon harkens back to Jun's unexpected use of knit panels in his main label Undercover, where it bridges bodices and sleeves on remade oneoff jackets or punctuates elbows mid-sleeve to provide freedom of motion amidst a slim cut (see: href=' Diaplex Parka). Here with Nike for Gyakusou, the continued exploration of knitted materialsapplies Jun's avant-garde design sensibilitiesto aperformance-oriented product and creates a really beautifulsynthesis of artistry and function.
Finished with center front zip, full mesh lining, two zippered waist pockets, cinched dropped back hem, and articulated hood.
Made in Japan
7/10 Condition with a few small snags at the knit panels and two pinsized holes at the back shell. One quite unnoticeable stain at the front chest next to the zipper placket which may come out with a wash.See pictures.
